How to evaluate conversational analytics

Assess answers against known questions and governed definitions, rather than the fluency of the response. Check which sources the assistant can access, whether it respects permissions and how users inspect supporting numbers.

Separate on-demand questions, scheduled analysis and autonomous investigations. They describe different modes of work. Ask what happens when evidence is missing or a question is ambiguous, and whether any external actions are actually supported. Analytical findings should not be presented as completed operational execution.

Buyer questions, answered

Is a chat interface enough to establish reliable analytics?

No. Evaluate source grounding, definitions, permissions and the ability to inspect evidence.

Are scheduled reports and autonomous investigations identical?

No. A schedule follows a defined task; an autonomous investigation may choose a question within its configured scope.

Does an AI recommendation mean the action was taken?

No. Recommendations, initiated actions and verified execution must be described separately.
