How to evaluate lottery brand licensing

Begin with the lottery product, property and territory you intend to launch. Compare the exact rights offered for printed scratch tickets, digital instant games and other lottery categories. The presence of a familiar brand in a supplier’s portfolio does not establish that every format or territory is available.

Request the permitted assets, approval process, licence term, exclusivity and commercial commitments for the selected property. Name the game developer and platform separately from the rights provider. Plan brand-owner approvals alongside game production and lottery acceptance so that a licence proposal and a finished game are evaluated on their respective scopes.
