Before you shortlist
Start with the player journeys and existing backend systems. A frontend displays and coordinates the experience; it does not automatically own the account ledger, compile odds or settle a casino round. Record which account, sportsbook, content and payment interfaces are actually supported in the proposal.
Compare framework, SDK, managed and bespoke approaches by responsibility. Define the scope of branding and custom code, who owns store accounts and submissions, and how upgrades reach the operator. Evaluate sign-in, changed prices, exclusions, interrupted games and account history across the same target devices. Include accessibility, localisation and poor connectivity in acceptance criteria.
Agree the continuing release process as carefully as the first launch. Request approval controls, rollback procedures, monitoring, source-access terms and a plan for operating-system and app-store changes. Assess the same proposition across all promised channels, while examining optional products by their distinct operational role.
