Before you shortlist
Start with the commercial rules and source data. A shared label such as revenue share does not establish identical NGR deductions, qualification thresholds, negative carryover or currency treatment. Ask each supplier to reproduce the same historical commission examples, including refunds and later corrections.
Compare tracking separately from financial reporting: postbacks can arrive quickly while revenue figures are finalised on another schedule. Define event identifiers, attribution windows, duplicate handling, consent requirements and migration of existing links.
Finally, map the finance process from a calculated commission through review, invoice, approval and actual transfer. A payment report or accounting export is not proof that the software itself moves funds. Test operator and affiliate views together so both parties can explain an adjustment.

SourceNo. Configurable formulas, deductions and qualification rules must be compared using the operator’s actual contract definitions.
SourceNot necessarily. Check calculation, invoice approval, accounting export and transfer execution as separate steps.
