How to evaluate open banking payments

Define the market, bank coverage, gaming use case and customer journey first. A bank-payment product is not automatically a complete cashier or a payout service. Compare the exact acceptance flow and the parties responsible for authorisation and support.

Separate payment approval, player balance availability and merchant settlement. Request the fee schedule, limits, guarantee conditions, reconciliation and failure handling. Public conversion or speed claims should not replace contractual terms and a test with the operator’s intended banks.

Buyer questions, answered

Does Pay by Bank include player withdrawals automatically?

No. Acceptance and payout products can be separate services and should be checked separately.

Is a US product page evidence of identical European availability?

No. Verify the market, contracting entity, banks and gaming-use scope.

Which timing measures should be separated?

Authorisation, player-facing funds availability and merchant settlement can describe different events.
