How to evaluate gaming terminal systems

Describe the venues, terminal models and peripherals you intend to operate. Compare the server software, physical terminal scope, supported games and device-management controls as distinct parts of the proposal. A retail terminal system does not automatically include online player-account management or every game supplier’s rights.

Specify connectivity, cash handling, ticketing, device logs, remote updates and operational access. If venues cannot maintain a stable internet connection, compare the documented local-server route and its update limitations. Agree content activation, jackpot configuration, reconciliation, hardware support and site acceptance, including which supplier owns each device and integration responsibility.

Which configurations, remote updates, permissions and device actions are available?

04

Game content

Which own and external games can be activated, under which rights?

05

Device reporting

Which status, event and operational records are exposed?

06

Peripheral and network integration

How are cash, ticketing, wallet and venue-network connections implemented?

07

Deployment and connectivity

Which connected or local-server deployments are documented?

08

Commercial packaging

How are terminals, server software, content, installation and maintenance priced?

Operational responsibilities

Who handles venue installation, remote administration, hardware incidents and content updates?

Buyer questions, answered

How is server-based configuration used?

R. Franco SBG defines game, bet and currency parameters at server level, with back-office controls for centres and terminals.

Source
Can a terminal system operate without stable internet?

SBG describes a Micro Server option for venues where a stable internet connection is unavailable, with sporadic internet use for remote updates. Confirm the local operational design.

Source
Can the system use games from other suppliers?

SBG explicitly supports external-supplier game integration alongside its own content. Content rights and the actual activation/integration scope still need agreement.
