Regula Face SDK

Facial biometric capture, liveness assessment and comparison for an operator-owned identity workflow.

The offering

What Regula Face SDK does

Regula Face SDK is a separately marketed biometric verification component. It guides portrait capture, evaluates image quality, assesses active or passive liveness and compares a captured face with a document portrait or another authorised reference. Its documented one-to-many search can also compare an image against a buyer-managed face database. Regula’s gaming applicability supports evaluating these functions within an operator’s identity workflow.

Choose the actual capture platforms, processing location, licensed functions and reference sources. Document authenticity is the job of the separately marketed Document Reader SDK; facial comparison does not independently establish account eligibility, financial provenance or every KYC obligation. Define consent, retention, thresholds and exception review before enabling biometric checks. Results enter the buyer’s workflow, where the operator owns the account decision and handling of an inconclusive or challenged result.

Who should explore it?

Operator identity teams adding licensed facial capture, liveness and comparison to an approved onboarding or reverification workflow.

  • Compare a captured portrait with the authorised document portrait during onboarding
  • Assess liveness and route an inconclusive biometric result for review

Buyer questions, answered

Does facial comparison verify document authenticity?

Face SDK performs facial biometric checks and comparisons. Document Reader SDK is separately marketed for reading and checking identity documents; choose both when the workflow requires both jobs.

Source
Can every licence work without an internet connection?

No. The licensing documentation requires a connection for online licensing and describes distinct platform-limited offline software and mobile licences. Select the actual processing and licence arrangement before deployment.
