What Persona Government ID does
Government ID collects government-issued document images and extracts their data for verification. The current product describes configurable capture devices/methods, document types, image-quality guidance, data censorship and required or optional checks such as expiration, minimum age and barcode capture. It can compare an ID portrait with a previously captured selfie and match extracted information against existing accounts.
Define the actual check package and document versions before integrating. A previous selfie is a separate evidence input, and global document coverage does not establish gambling eligibility. Hosted, embedded or mobile capture can be selected within Persona’s documented integration approaches. Configure result retrieval, retries and review queues; successful document verification does not complete source-of-funds, watchlist or physical-location checks by itself.
